Some thoughts from your new pastor... (And Happy Father's Day!)

I'm still trying to process all that happened this past weekend. It was overwhelmingly beautiful how many things came together at the same time... I'm going to try and put it into words.

On Saturday, I saw an army of volunteers joyfully and lovingly creating a party. I wish you could have heard all of the things that were said to me about how perfect the celebration turned out to be and how obvious it was that we cared very much about making it great for Pastor Del and Arlene. You put your very best out there and it showed in how we were able to honour them. Thank you.

On Sunday, you did something hard. You released your pastor. I know that took a lot of confidence in God and His plan for this church to do so. You allowed Pastor Ken to lead you through that. Thank you.

And now I'm writing to you from behind the walls of a new office. It's going to take some getting used to, that's for sure. But for every one of you who took a moment to hug me or shake my hand and look me in the eye or whisper in my ear, "Whatever you need..." Thank you.

I love this church.
You love this church.
Let's keep being about transformed lives.

In Christ,
Pastor Tracy

If you have a question for Jim, you can text it in during the service to the number on the screen or you can send it ahead of time by emailing us.
