"I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God's love and keep you strong." Ephesians 3:16-17
On Sunday, I have the privilege of sharing with you the vision that God has put in my heart for our church. As I've worked to put these thoughts to paper, God keeps pointing me toward this passage in Ephesians. The expanded section (v. 12-21) will be the focus of what I talk about on Sunday but let me tell what came to mind as I read and re-read these verses. Even as I pray these words for us, like Paul did for the church in Ephesus, I see that God is already doing this here at Freedom. Christ is making his home in our heart because we are deepening our trust in him day by day. I see our roots going deep in God's love and the strength that is bringing to our relationships with Christ. In fact, this strength is what God is using and will use to expand the reach and kingdom impact of "the church with the volleyball courts on Bleams".
I have no doubt that God is moving and we are following Him. I'm looking forward to sharing my heart with you.
In Christ,
P. Tracy
