One of the highlights of last Christmas was the event we hosted in the Pavilion. We invited the neighbours and the church family and called it Christmas in the Neighbourhood. We're doing it again this year and are inviting you to make a plan to join us on December 15th from 12-2.

There are lots of reasons to be there... the live nativity is a big hit, the fires for marshmallows, the crafts, the pizza lunch (no cooking for you!), the kids and choir performances... but it is, of course, more than that. It's about intentionally connecting with our neighbours, meeting someone new and getting to know them over a cup of hot chocolate. It's about telling the Christmas story in multiple ways and being present as the body of Christ to show the hope, love, joy, and peace that Jesus brings. It's about having fun together and enjoying the gift of community while inviting others to join in (because there is always more room at the table).

So, go ahead and pre-order your lunch and get your heart ready to welcome our neighbours.

Also, join us on Sunday from 5:45-6:30 for a special time of prayer. We will pray in the sanctuary and then move to the Pavilion, believing together that God will use us this season to bring people to know Jesus!
