In the fall I had the chance to participate in a Equip course (via Zoom) with Master's College and Seminary. It was a great experience and a good refresher of the scriptural basis for our Pentecostal beliefs.
Starting next week, MCS is offering another Equip course. This one promises to be equally helpful and perhaps even more practical for living our lives as Christ followers: Getting the Most Out of Reading the Bible.
Here's the course description:
Most Christians read the Bible from time to time, whether a leather-bound King James, a dog-eared NIV Study Bible, or the Bible.com app—but there’s a difference between simply reading the Bible and understanding and applying what we read. Although it may seem intimidating, any Christian can learn to faithfully read and understand the Bible. In this six-week course, Dr. Stephen Barkley will equip you with the tools and know-how to understand and apply the Scriptures yourself, so you can translate those millennia-old God-breathed words into action.
